                     Recently voot has released candy web series which is directed by Agrim joshi,Debojit das purkavastha. The star cast that plays the lead role are Ronit roy, Richa Chadha, Manu Rishi Chhadha, Gopal datt tiwari and Riddhi kumar. It was released on 8th September  2021. It consist of total 8 episodes and each episode is around 40 minutes.

                                                   

                                        The story of candy web series is all about the party's, murder mystery of a school student and to catch the evil spirit which do all the sinister things with the student of school in a small town Rudrakund. The story revolves around  the school teacher Jayant parekh who lost her daughter few years back and he is still struggling to move on and his wife finds an alternative way to remember her daughter. Ronit roy (Jayant parekh) plays the role of mentor of the student which was murdered mysteriously. In the midst of his personal agong, the death of his student pushed him over the edge of pain. On the other hand, Richa Chadha plays the role of DSP at Rudrakund. Her atrocious affair will put her job in danger but her dedication to crack the murder mystery and to stop all the sinister things happened was quite genuine. Manu Rishi Chadha plays the role of local politician who seems to be the most powerful person of his town. He is susceptible as a father who is defenseless in front of his son but he can move the cops and the people of Rudrakund on his fingertips makes the series dynamically interesting.

                                     One of the most interesting character of this series was kalki rawat (Riddhi kumar), who plays the role of Mehul's best friend. At the end, his acting and characters makes the series more intense and interesting. The whole series are presented without the exaggeration and it was mixed of various types of crime such as bullying, drug-taking, sexual assault, murder.
